THE annual Frome Small Publishers’ Fair will again be held on the first day of the Frome Festival, Saturday 6th July at Frome’s Silk Mill, from 10am to 3.30pm – admission is free.
The fair brings together a range of specialists who offer help, guidance, advice, opportunities and inspiration for creative writers. Visitors can also browse among the many fabulous books and small press publications for sale. In its eighth successful year, this event is a must for all book lovers.
Organisers say, “With the fair happening as the Frome Festival begins, the town will be fizzing with excitement and there will be lots to see and do. Why not start with a visit to this event?
“You can ask a writing or publishing question at the Frome Writers’ Collective information table and whether you write for children or adults there will be advice on editing, proofreading, agents and publishing. Meet authors, illustrators and book designers, browse through an impressive number of books, network with others who share the same love of books and creative writing, and enjoy it all in the Silk Mills’ gallery space with its beautiful beamed ceiling and sunlight windows.”
One happy visitor, delighted with the experience last year, said, “There’s always a real buzz at the fair! It gives inspiration to so many aspiring writers, lots of opportunities for existing publishers and authors to network and has an impressive range of books to browse and buy.”
The Frome Small Publishers’ Fair is a key event in the Frome Festival calendar bringing together publishing specialists who are able to offer services, help, advice and support to all who love books and everything associated with books.
