FROME RFC’s annual ‘Town v Gown’ Paul Lovatt Cup is returning to the town on Friday 29th December.
The annual Christmas fixture, now played in honour of club stalwart Paul Lovatt, sees a Frome ‘Town’ XV take on the returning ‘Gown’ XV, a team made up of ex and current players who are either studying or who have moved away but return for the holidays.
“The fixture is played in the true spirit of the game and we welcome anyone to come and dust off the boots, regardless of ability,” says the club.
“With mince pies and port the order of the day, the club opens its doors for another fun filled festive day with Christmas jumpers, music and karaoke later in the evening.
