Do you have an activity or idea that could help Frome become more energy smart or resource savvy?
Frome Renewable Energy Co-op and Frome Town Council are organising a big event at the Cheese and Grain on Sunday 14th September and would love to hear from you.
The focus of the day is on energy, transport, resources and food. There will be an exciting array of free workshops and activities for all ages; from bike fixing sessions to live insulation demos to renewable energy competitions, electric bikes, a free ‘swap-shop’, a fix-it area, lift-share ‘speed date’, live performance, music and tasty local food.
Organiser Anna Francis said, “We are planning to make Frome Green Sunday as useful and interesting for everyone as possible, making it attractive and easy to cut costs and carbon, have cosy homes and to get fit and healthy. We will also be launching a programme of green events on the day including cycle classes, a community clean energy programme and hopefully Frome’s new car club.”
