LOCAL anti-fracking campaigners are holding two meetings this month at the Cheese and Grain.
The local Green Party is putting on an event focusing on the threat of fracking in Somerset and Wiltshire. The event, named ‘What The Frack?’ will be on Thursday 14th April upstairs at the Cheese and Grain – 7.30pm for an 8pm start. The bar cafe will be open.
The next Frome Anti-Fracking meeting will be on Tuesday 19th April at the same venue from 7.30pm. The focus will be on taking action to raise awareness of fracking and informing people about the local situation.
There are plans to make signs, have a weekly presence on the streets of Frome giving out leaflets and to do more film showings locally. Any other ideas are welcome too.
