A special night of live music is coming to Frome, bringing together two bands featuring local mothers and daughters.
The event on 16th May at The Tunnels will see The Electric Kool-Aid Collective and What The Fuzz perform. Both bands feature mothers and daughters playing together, adding an extra dimension to the evening through a shared love of music across generations.
Organisers say, “The Electric Kool-Aid Collective, an exciting young band already building a strong following across Bath and Bristol. All currently studying Commercial Music at Bath Spa University, they blend psychedelic rock, funk and late-60s-inspired original songs with a fresh contemporary edge. With their debut single released on 2nd May, this is a chance to catch a band very much on the rise.

“Joining them are What The Fuzz (formerly Dr Fuzz and the Felts), returning with a new line-up and a fresh set after spending the winter writing and shaping new material. Their sound blends raw, rootsy textures with funky twists and a genuine love of playing together, brought to life through powerful vocals and an open, instinctive approach.”
Doors open at 7.30pm and music starts at 8.15pm. Tickets cost £4.50 in advance and £7.50 on the door. Under-18s are welcome until 10.30pm and entry includes access to The Tunnels club night afterwards, with DJs playing into the early hours. Tickets can be booked in advance via Eventbrite.
