THE Woodlanders Music Hall will soon be holding its annual money giveaway and will be donating funds to local clubs, charities and organisations.
Each year, the group from East Woodlands donate the proceeds from their October show to local communities. Last year’s donations totalled some £3,000 and previous recipients have included Dorothy House, We Hear You, St Katherine’s Church, Frome Carnival and Mothers’ Union.
To be considered, applicants need to state the group or organisation they are representing, why they would like a donation and what they would do with the money. Requests should be sent to: Mrs T Whittock, Secretary, Hillcrest, Windsbatch Lane, Oldford, Frome, BA11 2NN.
All requests should be sent as soon as possible. Decisions will be made at the AGM on 10th April, and applicants will be notified if you have been successful.
The Woodlanders Music Hall AGM is on 10th April at the Horse & Groom Pub in East Woodlands at 8pm; all are welcome.
This year’s autumn show will be on Monday 9th until Saturday 14th October.
