
THE Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby will be speaking at the Cheese & Grain on Tuesday 8th November as part of his visit to the Bath and Wells Diocese.
Events manager at the Cheese & Grain, Rob Dahl said, “We are delighted to announce the visit from the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby. He is perhaps the most impressive speaker the Cheese & Grain will ever host.
“He is visiting the diocese and has chosen the Cheese & Grain as the ideal platform from which to discuss a range of current affairs. The evening is intended for all faiths and denominations and agnostics and atheists alike.”
The Archbishop of Canterbury is the senior bishop and principal leader of the Church of England and is the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury. He was installed as Archbishop on 21st March 2013 at Canterbury Cathedral.
This is an all seated event with a limited capacity of 500 so advanced booking is strongly advised. Please note seating is unnumbered. Admission will be from 6.30 pm for a 7.30 pm start.
