Frome in Bloom has now launched the annual competition to find the best gardeners in the town.
There are many different categories to choose from and all ages are catered for from nursery school age to senior citizens. Small front gardens, hanging baskets, allotments and school entries are all particularly well supported.
Entry forms are available from Frome Town Hall, the Tourist information office at Frome Library, any committee member or by phoning FIB chairman Mr Ray Carver on 01373 467781.
Val Norvall, press officer for Frome in Bloom said, “There was a record number of entries last year so this year maybe we can do even better. Everybody is welcome to enter. Quite a few new green fingered folks have tried their luck recently so please keep it up !”
