Professional full-time artist, Guy Watts, who has been based in Frome for over 13 years, will be exhibiting his pen and ink work in town.
Guy will be exhibiting his latest works in a pop-up shop behind Divas Cafe on Bridge Street from 19th December until Christmas eve. The gallery will be open from 10am to 5pm from 19th to 24th.
“Frome has been an amazing place to strike out as an artist, which I did back in 2007,” Guy said. “I have been very fortunate in finding this special town back in 2003 after a period of working on oil rigs.
“I now work full time on my pen and ink drawings and have had my work shown in various south west locations including the Royal West of England academy and Frome’s own independent market.
“I am also a member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (SGFA) which has allowed me to exhibit further afield.
“My ideas are based on dreams, meditations and taking in the surrounding countryside either on foot or by bicycle.”
Guy will also be selling his latest range of distinctive black and white cards, framed and unframed prints and originals, as well as some distinctive collected jewellery pieces.
