Frome’s dining hotspot, The Peacock Restaurant & Stag lounge, is set to reopen on May 17th after spending months transforming and perfecting their premises, menus and offering.
“Many businesses have suffered greatly as a result of the pandemic forcing closure, but The Peacock Restaurant has used the time wisely to review, revamp and reinvent itself as Frome’s number one ‘go to’ eatery,” says the venue.
“Launching a brand new menu with Michelin Star trained Head Chef, Christopher Dixon, the Peacock promises diners an evening out to remember and one that’ll make up for everything that has been missed over the past few months.
“From steaks to lobster and cheeseburgers in between, the high quality menu has something for everyone. The Peacock’s locally renowned Sunday Lunch will also be returning every Sunday from 12-4pm.”
Head Chef, Christopher Dixon, told us “I wanted to create a menu that would offer the perfect dish for everyone. Steak, fish, lobster and crab are my specialties so they sit at the heart of the new menu and I cannot wait to welcome diners into the restaurant to sample my dishes.”
The venue continued, “With views across Orchardleigh Estate, the spacious restaurant has full length bi-fold doors, opening directly out onto the sun drenched terrace; offering the perfect spot for a delicious freshly prepared meal or perhaps a cocktail in the sunshine with friends.”
