2014 marks an important milestone for the Frome Badminton Club as it celebrates 40 years of playing club badminton.
From its humble beginnings, the club has grown to become one of the top badminton clubs in the area, and during its 40 years, has established a thriving and expanding Junior Club as well as seeing some its players achieve success in national and local competitions and tournaments.
The club is an active supporter of the BBC Children-In-Need appeal raising over £18,000 through its bi-annual overnight badminton marathons.
So, to help celebrate the occasion, the club is staging a tournament open to all – adults and juniors – comprising singles and doubles over the weekend of 6th and 7th September at the Frome Leisure Centre.
