FROME Town Bingo held its second charity bingo night recently, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support, and raised £3,535.
The event was held in memory of George Sharred.
“The family contacted local traders for donations and we give them all our grateful thanks as there are far too many to mention individually,” said the group. “Many more raffle prizes were donated by family, friends and players of Frome Town Bingo. Along with monies in the fund, the total raised was £3,535.
“Our next charity bingo event will be Friday 31st March at the football club in aid of Starry Eyes. Doors open at 6pm and eyes down at 7.30pm.”
