Frome Town Council is inviting residents to show support for Frome’s Railway Station by coming along to a community meeting.
The aim is share ideas and suggestions about how the town could work together to make the station more friendly and useable for all and ultimately to form a group to help make things happen.
Cllr Steve Tanner said, “The station is in desperate need of some tender loving care as a gateway to our town and we know that many local people want to help. Whether it’s by brightening up the railings, planting flowers or something more creative, we want to hear from you.”
The event is at Frome Town Hall on 17th September at 6pm and is an opportunity to get your thoughts heard and make a plan about putting your ideas into action. If you can’t make the meeting but still have ideas you’d like to share, please email friendsof fromestation@gmail.com and this will ensure you are kept up to date.
