BELLEVUE Veterinary Clinic had a special visitor as TV presenter Ben Fogle spent the day with them as part of a new series of rural programmes being filmed for ITV.
The veterinary clinic is owned by David Francis who along with his daughter, who is a vet student at the clinic, spent the day with television presenter Ben Fogle as a clinic was held at the practice and then went on a series of interesting calls in the Frome area.
David said, “The researchers contacted me earlier this month to ask if we would take part in the programme and of course it was something we were delighted to be involved with.
“It was an enjoyable experience but definitely a first for us. We had a lot of fun filming with Ben, he knows the area well as he used to film a lot at Longleat. In fact, the whole team was great and we thank them for coming to see us.”
The programme, which is called Countrywide, is to be featured on ITV starting from Monday 16th September at 8.00pm.
