A FROME dessert company will holding a fundraising ‘black tie bingo’ event at the Cheese and Grain in May to raise money for counselling charity We Hear You.
The evening, organised by Marston Foods, will start with a welcome drinks reception, where guests will be entertained by Somerset band Safehaus and be served food and drink.
The reception will be followed by games of bingo, with twenty-five exciting prizes to be won, including dinner cooked in your own home by Masterchef Finalist, Arnaud; a week in a house in Andalusia; and an AMG Driving Experience at Mercedes Benz World.
Leona McDonald, commercial and sales manager at Marston Foods said, “The bingo games will be hosted by the hilarious comedian, Ben Thurston.
“There will be five rounds of bingo, and books cost just £5 per round, which if you win any of the prizes is a real bargain! There’s no limit to how many books you can buy but the more you buy, the better your chance of winning.
“During the bingo there’ll be a short break where you’ll be served cheese and desserts (if you can squeeze it in!) and have the chance to show off your winnings so far. Black tie is optional, just come looking fabulous and ready to have some fun.”
Once the bingo has finished and all the prizes have been won, live band The Soul Solution will take to the stage to make sure that guests can round up the evening on their feet dancing and making the most of the event of the summer.
Tickets cost £25 per person, and groups of two to 100 are welcome. The ticket price includes all entertainment and food and drink, but doesn’t include bingo tickets and drinks after the welcome reception.
The bar will be open and drinks delivered to your table so you don’t miss any of the bingo action. 100% of the profits made from this event are going to We Hear You.
Gemma Wilkes, fundraising manager at We Hear You said, “ We are so excited about this event and enormously grateful to Marston Foods for organising it on our behalf and to all the very generous donors of prizes for the event. We are really looking forward to what promises to be an entertaining evening!”
