THE winner was ann-ounced of Bonbon Chic’s skeleton naming competition this month, with ‘Bone Bone Chic’ snapping up the first prize.
Izella and Jago O’Donovan’s witty pun won them the competition and £100 in gift vouchers.
Sharon Hall, owner of the shop said, “150 names were entered into the competition and there were some brilliant ones – it was very difficult to choose a winner! The competition had a great response from the good old people of Frome, and from further afield. Many even popped in afterwards to find out the final name.”
£150 was raised for Dorothy House from competition entry fees.
The competition began when Bonbon Chic on Catherine Hill revealed a hidden medieval well and industrial sump during a recent refurbishment. Sharon then placed a skeleton model in the sump and asked local people to compete to name it, whilst raising money for charity.
You can view the well and sump through lit glass and Sharon’s new skeleton friend, Bone Bone Chic, can be seen sitting down the industrial sump.
