A booklet sharing Frome’s Heritage Trail has been redesigned and expanded in a new easy-to-read format.
The 20-page booklet by The Frome Society has been updated in consultation with local historians. It details 30 commemorative plaques celebrating historic buildings, streets, and some of the town’s important businesses and residents.
It is illustrated with over 50 photographs, many taken exclusively for this edition, and has a new, larger map.
Chair of the Frome Society, Jayne Sadgrove, said, “It tells the history of Frome in a short, easy-to-read format that is ideal for a day’s exploration of the town. We hope locals and visitors alike will enjoy using it.”
The booklet costs £4.50 and is available to buy from Frome Museum, Discover Frome, Winstone’s Hunting Raven Books and The Frome Bookshop.
