Local author, Justin Newland, will be discussing and signing copies of his latest novel, ‘The Old Dragon’s Head’ on Saturday 19th October from 11.00am to 2.00pm at Hunting Raven Books, 10 Cheap Street, Frome, BA11 1BN
The Old Dragon’s Head (aka Laolongtou) is a historical fantasy and secret history of the Ming Dynasty and plays out in the shadows of the Great Wall of China.
Author Bio: Justin’s debut novel, ‘The Genes of Isis,’ is an epic fantasy set under Ancient Egyptian skies. His next novel, ‘The Coronation,’ due out in January 2020, is a secret history of the most important event of the modern times – the Industrial Revolution.
Justin does book signings, gives author talks and regularly appears on local radio. He writes history with a supernatural twist and lives with his partner in plain sight of the Mendip Hills.
