AN important delivery was made to St John’s School recently – a brand new maypole.
The school reports, “Children have had fun learning some basic moves this week, watching how the colourful ribbons were weaving and plaiting as they danced around it.
“They will be learning traditional dances to perform at the school’s May Fair on Saturday 2nd May.
“Some of the staff will also be putting on a performance, and they’re hoping some of their parents and carers will have a go at the fair too.”
