A BULLDOG named Brian was the star guest at the White Hart Corsley’s monthly bulldog meet on Saturday 10th September, after a tough start in life.
The six-month old bulldog had cherry eye, a common issue for dogs of Brian’s breed and he was recently posted on Facebook as needing a home, by the pub’s landlady, Adelle.
She said, “Lots of people had seen Brian on Facebook pages in Frome. He had lots of interest and was able to find his forever home. We are all so happy for Brian!”
Pleased with the success of the bulldog meet ups, Adelle added, “The bulldog meet [on 10th September] was a success and we look forward to our next meet up at The White Hart on Saturday 29th October. It will be a Halloween special fancy dress!”
Adelle is familiar with the bulldog breed as she owns two bulldogs, Woody aged six and Winnie aged four. She also runs the monthly bulldog meet in the White Hart Corsley, where over 45 bulldogs attend. Brian’s new owners are local and plan to bring him to the pub for regular visits.
