A LOCAL initiative, centred around the human need of connection, is looking to you to help them gain the opportunity to pitch their business idea to Richard Branson, owner of Virgin.
The Badass Network, based in Frome founded by Tanya Anderson, has entered the Virgin Media Business: Voom 2018 Pitch Competition to be in with the chance of winning a share of £1million in prize money and the chance to pitch their business idea to Richard Branson.
Tanya Anderson said, “The Badass Network is the world’s first networking community that supports business owners and entrepreneurs around the globe to realise their full potential by looking inside. We create safe, open spaces for those in business to bring their whole self, especially on a bad day and to connect. To come face-to-face and be real and authentic.
“Through our events and our online community, we invite our members to come on a journey of education and understanding and we continue to support them to make positive changes every step of the way.
“Our entire ethos is centred around facilitating one of the core human needs, connection. Through this we are creating regular monthly spaces for our town’s business owners and entrepreneurs to break the silence and isolation of home working and become a valued member of our health-centred community.”
In order for Tanya’s initiative to reach the top 80, where a semi-final will reduce it down to just six finalists, you will need to vote for them via https:// voom. virginmediabusiness.co.uk/ pitches/the-badass-network where voting closes on Tuesday 15th May.
