Frome Town Council will be holding a workshop this week to help local organisations plan for their business, charity or enterprise.
The session will take place on Friday 3rd June, 10am to 4pm at the Assembly Rooms on Christchurch Street West.
Kate Hellard, the town council’s community projects officer said, “This session is a fantastic opportunity for local groups, trustees and staff to learn more about strategic and business planning.
“The full day course is run by the national organisation the Directory of Social Change, which has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in this area.
“Frome Town Council is covering a large amount of the costs and is asking for a small contribution towards the training, which will also include a follow-up session later in the year to support groups putting their learnings into practice.
“This workshop is part of a rolling programme of training so if you are unable to attend but would have liked to have been there, then please let us know so that we can include you in the mailings for future training.”
The cost to participants is £10 for the day’s session and lunch will be included. Contact poultonl@frometowncouncil.gov.uk to book a place or call 01373 475572 to find out more information.
