WHEN you pick up your copy the Frome Carnival official programme, make sure you take notice of the winning cover design by Caitlin Curtis Snook.
Caitin, who is 11 years-old, beat dozens of entries with her winning design which features on the front page of this year’s programme.
Caitlin’s mum Jennie Curtis said, “She really likes drawing but has struggled in the past but we always tell her ‘practice makes perfect’ so her hard work has paid off.
“She was really thrilled to win and we are all very proud of her. It was her granny that said she should enter, I didn’t know anything about it until we were told she had won! I was very surprised, but so pleased for her.
“It’s wonderful to see her design on the programme and knowing lots of people will see it!”
