LOOK out for colourful and creative displays in Frome’s shop windows as the town gears up for the Carnival!
The Frome Times and Frome Carnival Committee are inviting local shops to enter the Carnival Shop Window Competition, and celebrate Carnival by filling their windows with a special display between the 6th and 27th September.
The remit is simply the best decorated window preferably, but not necessarily, with a Carnival theme. To enter please email news@frometimes.co.uk with the subject line “Carnival Shop Window Competition”, and include your business name, address, and contact details. Entries for judging of the window must be received by 5pm on Tuesday 2nd September.
Judging of the competition will take place on the day of the Carnival Duck Race, Saturday 6th September.
Frome Carnival will be held on Saturday 20th September, with events throughout the day and an afternoon and evening procession.
