Prosecco and cake await local writers at the grand opening of The Write Place, on the top floor of Black Swan Arts that is dedicated to helping writers write together.
Writers in every genre are invited to celebrate the opening of this unique creative space from 11.00am until 1.00pm on Sunday 30th September.
The Write Place has a quiet zone for writing in companionable silence six days a week. And they have recently taken on a second studio so that writers have an area to socialise, share ideas, work or food – or just to relax after a writing session.
Writer Kate McEwan, who facilitates The Write Place says, “It’s every writer’s dream – a room of their own where they are not alone, so cannot procrastinate.
“We are not-for-profit to help everyone who wants to, afford the time to write. Members can write any time they like for only £25 a month. And visitors are also welcome to join us for £5 for half a day when space is available.”
Entrance to the grand opening is free, but numbers are limited, so prior booking on Eventbrite is essential.
