Cork Street car park in Frome is to be closed for four days while it is resurfaced and the parking bays are re-lined.
The closure of the popular car park will take place from 27th – 30th July. During this time, motorists will need to use other car parks around the town.
Stuart Finney, group manager for neighbourhood services at Mendip District Council said, “Cork Street car park is well used and often very busy, so I would like to apologise in advance to motorists for the short-term inconvenience.
“Once completed, the car park will have been completely resurfaced and there will be clearer lines marking out the parking bays.”
