Long-serving members of staff at Frome’s Critchill Court care home were recognised for their hard work at a special event last month.
On 23rd August residents, colleagues and family members gathered to join the celebrations. In total, a century of hard work was recognised, with the combined length of service totalling 100 years.
Seven members of staff were able to attend the event, and each received their certificates and flowers. One staff member, 74-year-old Pam, was recognised for an impressive 35 years of service. Manager Victoria Hughes-Jones and operations manager, Sue Harvey, presented the awards and each thanked the staff for their commitment and dedication to the residents they support.
Manager Victoria said, “All I can say is ‘wow’! We’ve got incredibly dedicated staff here at Critchill Court and it was great to celebrate their service. The residents had an amazing time cheering them on and being a part of the celebrations. I would personally like to say thank you to all of the staff at Critchill Court, who all work so hard to provide the best possible service to our residents.”
After the presentations, everyone tucked into cheese and biscuits before singing and dancing to live entertainment from the Spangles.
