Staff at Critchill Court are celebrating following the announcement that their home and two members of their team have been shortlisted for awards.
The staff members from the Frome care home have been shortlisted for a Somerset Care Group Award, an in-house annual awards ceremony which recognises members of the Somerset Care Group staff.
Over 320 nominations were received for the awards and taken to a judging panel made up of Somerset Care’s directors and senior managers. The Critchill Court shortlisted nominees are:
The entire Critchill Court team in the category of ‘Team of the Year’, and activities co-ordinators Sally Button and Leanne Simms in the category of ‘Outstanding Contribution to Activities’.
Staff from Critchill Court will attend the awards ceremony on 28th September at the Somerset County Cricket Ground in Taunton.
Speaking on the achievements, manager Victoria Hughes-Jones said, “We’re delighted to be up for the Team of the Year award, and we’re all rooting for Sally and Leanne in their category for their contribution to activities for the residents at Critchill Court. We’re really excited for the event, even if we’re not announced as winners; it’s still great to be recognised.”
