THIS year’s Frome Carnival Ambassadors were selected at last week’s Carnival Fun Day.
This is the second year that ambassadors have been selected to represent the event, after the role was brought in last year when the decision was made to axe the carnival royalty, replacing them with new roles, better suited to 21st Century values.
Five ambassadors (three juniors and two seniors) were selected by a panel of three independent judges. The three junior ambassadors are, Megan Wells aged 8, Nicole Goodall aged 10 and Emily Andrews, aged 10. The senior ambassadors are Emma Louise Smith, and Jessica Cook, who was also an ambassador for the carnival in 2017.
