CATS in Distress, an independent cat welfare, rehoming and rehabilitation charity, is celebrating its second birthday this month with an open day event on Saturday 12th May.
Cats in Distress recently launched an appeal to raise funds for new cat pens, allowing the charity the facilities to look after and rehome more cats. Now that they have raised enough money, and had the pens built, they are inviting donators and visitors to come and see the finished pens.
Also, as part of their birthday celebrations, there will be lots of activities during the event. Speringcourt Animal Rescue will be there with hawks and owls for people to meet, a barbecue, afternoon tea and cake, bric-a-brac sale, a raffle, tombola and lots of games on the lawn for the children.
It’s free entry with a whole lot of fun for the whole family. Join in the celebrations at Rectory Cottage, Berkley Street, Frome, BA11 5JH. For more information call 07504 129955 or 01373 830972.
