Rotary Club of Frome has donated a further £7,500 to the Frome Memorial Theatre Boiler Appeal.
Members of The Rotary Club of Frome are also trustees of the Ron Button Trust. Ron Button was a long serving member of the Rotary Club of Frome and in his will left a legacy to the club. At a recent meeting, Rotarians unanimously agreed to give the Frome Memorial Theatre Boiler Appeal a donation of £7,500 from that fund which they are sure Ron Button, being a man of Frome would have fully supported. The club has also supported the appeal with a donation earlier this year.
Ron Button was managing director of Cockeys in Garston Road and secretary of Garston Rovers Football Club, a high profile club in Frome in the 1920/30’s.
