Eileen Thomas was joined by family and friends to celebrate her 100th birthday on Saturday 16th July.
Eileen, originally from West Ham in London, celebrate the occasion at a party thrown by the staff at Gracewell of Frome where she now lives.
She was extremely pleased with her birthday card from the Queen and reminisced throughout the afternoon with photographs of her life brought in by her family.
Becki Macey, activities co-ordinator at Gracewell, said, “It was great fun being able to celebrate Eileen’s special birthday with her and seeing how much she enjoyed it was the icing on the cake!”
