A POPULAR local art group is back with a new name and a new exhibition!
A spokesperson for the group says, “After an absence of three years because of Covid and related problems, we are delighted to report that Frome SODA’s well-established art exhibition will once again be hosted by St John’s Church throughout the Frome Festival, daily 1st to 10th July, 11am to 4pm.
“The group however has a brand-new name, Frome Art for Wellbeing, which members felt had a more comfortable “feel” for the modern age.
“Original art works will as usual be on sale but also the very popular greetings cards: make sure to arrive in good time before the best sell out!
This year we are commemorating the sad recent deaths of two of our much-loved members, Margaret Beacham and Sue Danby. In their memory we have reinstated the People’s Choice event.
“So come along, visit the exhibition and vote for your favourite picture. You may even be lucky to win the picture of your choice!”
