A PROFESSIONAL chef recently visited Selwood Academy in Frome to officially open the school’s new food technology room.
School spokeswoman Jane Larman said, “We were delighted to have Mark Webber, an executive chef from Edwards & Ward, officially open our new food technology room.
“After two years of planning, designing and carrying out the required works the food technology room came to life as Mark dazzled us with his culinary expertise and provided ambassadors, staff and guests to a Shawarma Bar experience.
“Our sincere thanks go to everyone involved in every step of the complete refurbishment project, including pupils who helped design and choose colour schemes, project lead personnel from SW1, several contractors who worked extremely hard to ensure the project was completed within a tight deadline and to the premises team who oversaw the project entirely.”
