The Christ Church candlelit carol concert takes place this year on Saturday the 21st December at 5.00pm at Christ Church in Christchurch Street West, Frome, and will last approximately an hour, with mulled wine to follow.
Organisers say, “This has become an established favourite on the Frome Christmas calendar and is usually a full house so do come on time to get a seat!
“This year there will be carols, music and readings for Christmas and Advent featuring the Christ Church Singers. Music will include Morten Lauridsen’s “O Magnum Mysterium” and Rutter’s “Shepherds Pipe Carol”. Readings will include an extract from Dickens’ “ A Christmas Carol” and another from Kilvert’s diary.
“As usual, admission will be £5 or whatever you can afford, with all donations going to Fair Frome who run the food bank and other projects in the town.”
