The Merlin Theatre is packing the red velvet seats as family entertainment comes to town to close the year.
With 10 performances, starting on Friday 6th December, a line-up of local talent brings Dickens’ Ebeneezer Scrooge alive in a community production of A Christmas Carol.
On Friday 20th December join a ragtag band of wild musicians in a special screening of Wolf Witch Giant Fairy. This ‘enchantingly staged’ family folk opera, retelling a famous tale with new twists and turns, was conceived and created by Olivier award-winning local professional theatre company, Little Bulb.
And to round of the year in traditional style, on Saturday 21st December, Frome Town Brass Band will hold their annual Christmas Spectacular. Audiences will also be invited to join a singalong selection of carols and traditional tunes and there will be a certain ‘bearded VIP’ guest appearance too!
