A MISTAKE was made in issue 508 of the Frome Times, in the story ‘Calling all Frome Landlords’.
The Fair Landlords Scheme has been put in place by Fair Housing for Frome, not Fair Frome. It is an initiative where private landlords can receive advice and pass on experience in a friendly and informal setting.
Fair Housing for Frome is a grassroots organisation, launched in 2015, to meet and discuss the housing crisis in Frome ensuring that everyone has access to secure, affordable and accessible accommodation amidst the issue of rising house prices in the area.

Fair Frome is now the only food distribution centre in Frome. It works with local people from all backgrounds to create greater equality and to raise awareness of the issues of poverty and offers practical support, such as kitchen equipment and clothes washing facilities.
