AN ex-civic award winner and co-founder of Frome’s Citizens Advice Bureau has been recognised for her work to help the local community following her death.
Dawn Cunningham recently died at the age of 83 and her funeral was held in Bath on the 25th September. Dawn was the co-founder of Frome’s Citizens Advice Bureau in 1974 and she was a 40-year volunteer for Citizens Advice. Her dedication was recognised by the Frome Mayor’s Civic Award in 2021 as well as by a Citizens Advice Lifetime Service Award in 2003.
At her funeral, Tony Perry said, “Dawn undoubtedly leaves a lasting legacy as her unstinting service over many years has benefited so many people and enriched the whole community.”
