Hundreds of people gathered together on the cobbled streets of St Catherine’s in Frome to celebrate St Catherine’s Summer Pop-Up on Saturday 23rd June.
James Borley, who led the team behind the event, said, “Over 20 events took place in participating shops and businesses – including pop-up bars, food stalls, designers and makers selling exclusive pieces and even a pottery throwing demonstration – whilst the street was filled with people enjoying pizza, ice cream and refreshments whilst hanging out on straw bale seating, listening to buskers and jazz bands. It was a midsummer’s party like no other! We are all so thrilled with the turnout on Saturday – it was so great to see so many local people out enjoying themselves and supporting their local businesses. We can’t wait for the next one!”
Plans are already in place for the next pop-up event, which is scheduled to take place in December, just in time for Christmas.
