FROME couple, Claire and Jason Eacott, completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 last weekend raising just over £300 for Cancer Research UK.
Jason, already a keen cycler, was already signed up to take part in the event but encouraged Claire to join him in the challenge after her dad became ill last year.
After the event Claire said, “We both completed the 100 miles – I finished in 7.19 and Jason finished in 5.46. We are both really proud of our efforts and it was a lovely day. We would like to thank everyone who donated and supported us and to our sponsors.”
