THIS month’s summer playscheme at Frome’s Critchill School was deemed a triumph by the organisers.
The four-day scheme ran from Monday 4th August to Friday 8th. It offered a range of activities including break-dancing, tropical discovery, drumming workshops, hydrotherapy, food technology, soft play, and sensory activities.
Barbara Horton, administrator for the school said, “This year’s Summer Playscheme was another resounding success. A huge thank you to all our sponsors; without their generosity the playscheme would simply not be able to run.”
The playscheme was sponsored by Somerset Social Services, the Rotary Club, Frome Relief in Sickness, and Friends of Critchill.
It is run for students of Critchill School, which is an establishment providing education for pupils aged 4-19 with special educational needs.
