A group supporting local dads has raised just over £2,000 for Frome Birth Talk during its first anniversary celebrations.
The funds were raised by For Dads Sake for the charity, which provides counselling support for new parents, pregnant people and those who have experienced baby loss.
For Dads Sake was formed last year to provide a network of support and a space for dads to talk, share advice and build friendships.

The group held its first anniversary celebration at the Archangel pub in Frome, with an afternoon of entertainment including live music, food and drink, children’s activities, face painting and a raffle.
The event was attended by Frome Mayor Mark Dorrington and local MP Anna Sabine.
Group member Wayne said, “Thank you to everyone who donated a raffle prize, bought a raffle ticket and supported us by being there.
“Thank you to Gemma and her lovely staff at the Archangel for partnering with us and letting us host the event at the pub. And a big shoutout to Lucy at Frome Birth Talk for helping us with some of the prizes and being so great on the day.”
