COOPER and Tanner will be holding their fifth specialist jewellery, silver and watches sale on 24th April.
Since their first sale in May 2022 the success of these auctions has increased so much that they are now holding three sales this year instead of the previous two a year. April’s sale has approximately 300 lots of stunning period pieces, unusual modern items and beautiful silver.
Some of the highlights of the sale include a rare David Webb bracelet, with articulated links, estimated at £8,000 to £10,000; a spectacular Art Deco aquamarine and diamond cluster ring, estimated at £2,000 to £3,000 and a very unusual early Victorian pearl, rose cut diamond and enamel choker necklace, estimated at £3,000 to £5,000.
A Cooper and Tanner spokesperson says, “There is something for everyone in the sale, with estimates starting at £30 to £50, and a huge variety of items on offer. As well as being a great way to sell items, auctions can also be a very cost-effective way of purchasing jewellery and silver, prices are often lower than their retail counterparts, and has the benefit of items being second hand meaning that the cost to our environment is lowered.
“If you would like to be added to the mailing list please contact the team. Whether you have one item or a collection of items that you would like valued, our valuers would be happy to assess them for you. Please contact the sale room team on 01373 852419 or salerooms@cooperandtanner.co.uk.”
Alternatively, free valuation days are held every Thursday 10am to 4pm at their Standerwick office, and the valuation days at Cooper and Tanner offices will begin again at the end of May.
