Somerset Independence Plus (SIP) can provide free temporary heaters to Mendip residents, whilst the heating is being repaired or replaced.
In addition, if you can’t afford to repair or replace the heating you may be eligible for a council grant or loan. In partnership with Mendip District Council and Wessex Resolutions, Somerset Independence Plus can support a homeowner in arranging a loan or grant, oversee the work from start to finish, get quotes and manage contractors.
