FAIR Frome’s food bank has issued its most recent appeal for donations.
The food bank is currently in need of rice snacks, pasta snacks, tinned custard, and sauces for rice and pasta.
Coordinator Wendy Miller-Williams added, “We are occasionally asked for formula milk and nappies, too, so donations of these would also be most welcome. Due to the continuing demand placed on the local food bank, Frome is still struggling to cope.”
There are food collection boxes in ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Frome Funeral Care at Badcox, Barnardos, Frome Whole Foods, Westway Co-op, and Tesco Express. All donations of non-perishable packet and tinned goods are very welcome, for example: instant snacks, tinned meat, tinned vegetables and tinned fruit, cereals, coffee, tea, rice sauces and pasta sauces.
