“On a bitter cold snowy day in January 1985, I took a short walk into the Somerset countryside to get a picture or two of the then redundant ( switched out) signal box at Clink Road, writes John William Rees.
I took the photo on Wednesday 9th January 1985, before the signal box was dismantled and eventually re-erected at the Great Western Society`s depot at Didcot in Oxfordshire.”
