1966 England footballing legend Sir Geoff Hurst entertained hundreds of people last Friday night in Frome, having rescheduled his postponed show after what was reported as a health scare in national tabloids back in January, when his show was cut short at The Cheese and Grain due to a nosebleed.
The famed World Cup Final hat-trick goal-scorer took time to meet with fans prior to his on-stage performance, followed by an on-stage interview plus Q&A. In the opening of his talk, Sir Geoff made it clear that the nose bleed was nothing to be worried about, more just an inconvenience to everyone attending the event.
As a thank you to those who held on to their tickets, the event organisers have offered ticketholders a chance to purchase pre-sale tickets to an intimate event with Harry Redknapp, taking place on Thursday 13th June at The Cheese and Grain.
