Local charity Fair Frome has been working toward improving accessibility in shops, cafes, restaurants and social venues in the town with its campaign, ‘Access for All’.
The campaign aims to highlight awareness of access issues in Frome. To assist businesses and venues in Frome in making small changes that improve the experience they offer for all visitors and prospective customers, ’Access for All’ has produced a leaflet setting out clear and practical advice, along with some simple suggestions.
Karen Stewart, Fair Frome trustee, who has taken the lead on the ‘Access for All’ campaign, says, “It can feel overwhelming, knowing how to improve the facilities you offer, and to work towards increasing your accessibility as a business or venue. Minor changes can make a huge difference to all your customers and visitors and in doing so, increase your customer base.”
Fair Frome say “We would love to come and talk to any businesses or venues that are keen to work towards improving their accessibilit.
