LOCAL charity Fair Frome, which runs the foodbank and other projects to help those people in the town in acute financial need, are appealing for help in collecting Easter eggs to give away with food parcels before Easter.
The charity report, “The collection has already got off to a great start thanks to the Frome Nifty Needlers who have knitted 520 Easter chicks with wool supplied by Nicky at the Frome Yarn Collective and filled with eggs donated by Frome Town Rotary.
“Anyone who can spare an egg of whatever size is asked to donate them in the foodbank collection points at most supermarkets and other places in Frome as soon as possible in order to get them packed and ready to go to children and families before Easter.”
