Frome Symphony presents the latest in its series of family classical concerts on Saturday 31st January.
This promises to be a fun, educational event to help children experience the fun and excitement of live music.
Audiences at previous events have found this a tremendous experience, which often encourages a desire to learn an instrument or at the least the beginnings of a love of music.
Presented and narrated by Alastair Johnston, the event includes an introduction to the instruments of the orchestra, followed by a performance of Prokofiev’s magical tale of ‘Peter and the Wolf’.
The concert takes place in Holy Trinity Church, Frome at 3.00pm. Tickets (£5) can be booked in advance at www.fromesymphony.org.uk.
